netflix movies on PC

unbearably laggy only in evening - help

I have been watching various shows on netflix via the web for over a year. Until recently, never had a problem. However, about a month ago, it got very laggy (stopping and buffering every two minutes, or more often...) especially in the evening. Cold reboot does not help. Is this because web activity goes up in the eve (east coast time)? Other things seem OK with PC. Any suggestions to get better viewing (reduce elim lag). Use Firefox - updated. Thx...

Yeah, it does get laggy on the East coast early evenings.

call netflix, tell them what you're experiencing and remember to give them the service code number. They should  be able to tell you exactly what the problem is. (it's probably just overload but I think it's pretty cool they can provide specific download information)
