Disable Super Abilities

Hello,

I tried starting a new game, and I unchecked the box next to Super Abilities in the setup screen, but when I selected Terran and moved forward it still showed the "Super Diplomats" ability and the +30 Diplomacy bonus was still there.  I started the game just to double check and when I checked in the game it still showed the +30 Diplomacy bonus.

Why is the super ability still there if I unchecked the box to disable them?  How do I turn off super abilities?

The +30 to Diplomacy is a racial bonus of the Terrans, and not from Super Diplomats. The Super Abilities will still be shown on the race selection screen, if you have them disabled. However, they do not appear or work once you start the game. You can easily test this with the Korath. If Super Abilities are disabled, they will not have access to their Spore Weapons technology.

Ah, ok, thank you.  I thought the +30 Diplomacy that I was seeing was because of the Super Diplomat ability.  Thank you for clearing that up for me.
