System Control gadget background trans issue

Greetings all, been a long time....anyway, I got my new install up and running and I'm using a new gadget, System Control but it seems to have a problem with transparent backgrounds. For some reason it's not recognizing the transparency. All of my other gadgets have no problem with it (using png's). Any coders out there know a fix for this? Thanks. :bebi:

must be almost a decade ago when i was playing with sidebar gadgets. the only thing i remember is that transparency could get broken when semi-transparent parts of images overlapped each other.
