This kid who has a room across the hall from me is REALLY funny. He comes over and just starts talking about weird stuff. So, just a few minutes ago he came in and was talking about the best nuclear holocaust movie of 1983: “THE DAY AFTER.”
Apparently someone gets fed up with Kansas, and decides to nuke it…this kid – the one that lives across the hall – was born in 1983 in Kansas. I said to him, “were they just preparing for the worst, when they knew your Mom was with-child?”
He looks at me. For what must have been at least a half an hour (if it wasn’t I couldn’t tell because it felt like it). Then he says, “no, they were trying to stop Bright Eyes from becoming a band.”
Weak. Seriously. Weak.
