SoaSE Rebellion activation?

Greetings. Since I don't like Windows, I used to play games under Wine. Recently my friend showed me sins, but I didn't know if it would work under Wine, especially the Steam version. So I asked him to log in Steam on my PC and try to play the game (he had to activate sins). Sins worked pretty good so I bought the game. But now there is a question: how could I re-activate sins using my credentials? Is it actually necessary to do this?

The Rebellion activation file is located at C:\ProgramData\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\License. You can go to that folder and delete 'rebellion.bin'. Once that is done, you can run the game again and it will prompt for the activation.

PS: it appears that the file is located under All users directory (or whatever it called under Windows). I.e. I've found it here:

WINEPREFIX/drive_c/users/Public/Application Data/Ironclad Games/Sins of a Solar Empire/License/rebellion.bin

So under Windows it could be here:

WINDRIVE/Documents and settings/All users/Application Data/Ironclad Games/Sins of a Solar Empire/License/rebellion.bin

Maybe it's because the game was installed through Steam.
