'How should modern applications appear when opened?' does not seem to work correctly

Hi -

I'm on ModernMix version 1.0a.  I have specified in the ModernMix configuration that a modern app window when opened from the desktop should always open maximized.  But this doesn't work if I previously opened the app from the Windows 8 Start menu in fullscreen - it will also open in fullscreen from the desktop.

Once I change the app back to maximized from the desktop it will then continue to open maximized.  But once it is opened in fullscreen from the Windows 8 Start menu it will then open in fullscreen from the desktop.

Note that I do not have 'Always use the last state of the application' checked on either of the 2 occurrences of the checkbox.

Is this a bug?

Did you close the app when it was fullscreen?

If not starting it again would just switch to the already running version which would be in what ever mode it was in at that point.

Yes...I made sure the fullscreen app was closed and I confirmed it by checking Task Manager.
