Running Win7 64 Ultimate, ran application standard and tried XP SP3 compatibility.

When I start a new game, the first screen loads fine, and I set galaxy options, then hit "Next" for race selection and boom, CTD.

My game does almost the same thing. I get past all the set up options and the game is loading when it crashes. I don't know how to post the debug.err or anything else unfortunately. I have tried to update all drivers and I still get the crashes. Only Twilight of Arnor crashes.

Intel Core i7-2600 3.4GHz

8GB RAM ATI Radeon HD5700 Series

Windows 7 HP 64-Bit

If you are using mods you need to turn them off then test again.

 

also, get us the debug.ERR file from your save location.

The exception code indicates an attempt to divide by zero.  Might indicate a problem with the installation.

Just copy and paste your debug.err (open it with Notepad) into a post.

It looks like you have the 'Use Mods' box checked and it's using the 'Default' mod.  Uncheck that and restart the game, it should be fine after that.

Yeah I unchecked "use mods" after I posted this debug and it still crashed. I don't even have any mods in the mod folder. I play completely vanilla.

If it's not a resolution or mod issue, the next thing would be to do a clean reinstall to eliminate any other possible corruption or bad install issues. Your debug log doesn't show any evidence of the more common ones like the localization keys being absent or UI files being damaged though, so if a reinstall doesn't help, please email [email protected] to look into this in further depth.
