LH Ceases Responding

I've observed that interacting with several map objects, such as treasure from monster lairs or quest locations, can cause Legendary Heroes to stop responding. I've also seen the same thing happen after ending my turn. I'm assuming the AI is triggering the error is such cases. Is this problem known?

I had it stop responding this morning after I had beating the game and tried to start a new game. I'm guessing an AI error wouldn't cause that.
