[bug] Long archer bug

Just wanted to post here, the game is great so far, not many bugs.  Two I have noticed, though small.  One is the archer bug, similar to the archers in the original WOM, seems that some archers (and my sov, when i equipped her with a bow) after being told to fire at an enemy, take about 10-12 seconds to carry out the command....and often with no animation.  Also, got a CtD when my system went on hibernate during gameplay.  Thats all so far, I'll keep posting as i notice things.  Thanks so much, stardock.  You are the best of software companies.

You are my Archer brother (or sister).

I am the only person here at Stardock that gets the archer delay problem.  The issue is that my mouse is sending a fast double click that are both trying to process when I attack with an archer (archers are special cases because they do a special animation to turn toward the enemy they are going to fire at).

We don't know if there is something special about my mouse being overly sensitive or if I am just a spaz at mouse clicking.  either way we have a fix ready for the next patch and you must be in the same boat as me.

I have the same issue. Using Logitech Anywhere MX mouse. Though it seems weird that it would be a mouse problem since it only happens with a right-click archer attack, and not any other right-click commands...

It was a change to make units more responsive.  The take their action on mouse down and click instead of just the click.  In 99% of the cases it does what is intended, it makes the game feel more responsive.  The game ignores the duplicate command and we are fine.

But Archers are a different animal.  They have a very quick animation turn to face who they are going to shoot at.  While this is happening the second command comes through telling them to move/attack and they get stuck.

But fortunately the developer was able to fix it so we can keep spazing on our touchy mice.

I get this as well.  Although it didn't seem to happen every battle I did.  Some battles there was that 10-12 second delay, others it worked perfectly.  Seemed almost random.  Using a Razer Naga (corded not wireless).
