I may have found the hint of what is chasing the Vasari

from Sins Forums

Or at least an example of their own language.

I came across this while examining the texture for the nanite swarms spawned by the Rankulus. I do not believe it is actually used on the mesh anywhere.

 

 

Unfortunately, I am terrible at figuring out what these kind of character may be, but even to me it seems a few look like E's or R's. Maybe someone better at such things can actually read it.

It would be nice to get some confirmation if we are on the right track.

 

Have you tried anagrams? Also what if the symbols are not letters but numbers? The numbers could correspond to letters in another alphabet. Has anyone looked into the pulse pattern of those red lines on the circles?

I still read the forums.  Do not force my great and terrible return to posting.

And if you rotate those symbols 90 degrees to the right you will have a much better chance of decoding what alphanumeric values they actually represent.

But that's the only help I am giving and that only because its a holiday.

It seems as if some lines are there only to separate characters. The Vasari seem to write vertically but I am unsure which direction is correct. It should also be noted that no character is repeated however distorted versions of characters appear. It is possible this is a Vasari Rosetta Stone.

It is also interesting that every message seems to have another inside it if you translate it differently except for crisis.

All the concentration seems to be on the text, but what about the circles?

 

Has anyone cross-referenced them under the assumption that they may be a map. IE, the central orb being a sun, the lines being phase lines. Maybe theres a 2-sun map that corresponds to these
