WE WANT THE LH BETA. Or at least same news/updates. I was hoping to take a break from Stardrive (I'm obsessed) with some Legendary Heroes time.

my major grump with Distant words is that it isn't on steam, isn't multiplayer and is too expensive if you want best last version (and new one is coming out too).

 

Matrix publisher is holding them back from Steam saying it's not in their interest, when the sales would go through the roof..

that's a point but minor.

 

games on smartphones look a hell of a lot better, that's major

ObjectDock - Access shortcuts and frequently used applications from an animated dock.

DW has great economics, leaders etc with both expansions.  Problem i found with DW is the automation makes it more like watching then playing, and you can't not automate or it's micromanagement city and you spend more time in pause than actually seeing things happen

 

But stardrive is better for everything else, the races in DW are bleh and so are the graphics.

 

A perfect 4x space game would blend the two nicely, if DW had a graphics update with better space and ground combat, ship design and more flavoured races it would be legendary

 

I think Stardrive will add leaders, more to the universe and random events, and better economics before DW will make up the difference. 

 

In other words, Stardrive is already in better shape to be the "Legendary" 4X you speak of.
