Resolved: [Crash] 1.32 "EFE has Stopped Working"

Update:    I installed new video drivers and FE now runs again.    So something done between 1.3 and 1.32 required that update.  Please disreguard the request for assistance.

I have had almost now crashes with FE since 1.0.   It's been stable as a rock.    

I updated from 1.31 to 1.32.     Now whenever I try to start FE the screen goes dark for a few seconds and then I get a windows message "Elemental Fallen Enchantres has stopped working".    At that point windows looks for an answer and always comes back without one and gives me one option - shut down the program.    This is happening at the very start up of the game.

Any ideas for what has happened since it ran perfectly on my rig until 1.32?    I would very much like to get it running again.

I have tried uninstalling the game, doing a fresh download and install.    The same thing happens.
