Fallen Enchantress not available in Europe?

I don't know if this is the right subforum, but here goes:

 

I pre-ordered Elemental: War of Magic on Impulse because I was really looking forward fantasy style Civ game, when it was released I was one those people who were disapppointed at the actual product. I didn't really care for the game and never really sought out information regarding the development of Fallen Enchantress. I did however pick up that it would allegdly be free for those who had bought Elemental before the announcement of FE.

Since i've heard that FE is quite good I downloaded the Gamestop app (since it's the new iteration of Impulse). However when I went to My Games the only thing there was Elemental and when I looked through the store FE was only available in North America. Steam does have it available for purchase in europe, but doesn't have any ties to Stardock (though I do prefer it as a platform).

So I guess my question is, did FE actually end up free for owners of Elemental? Or was that merely rumors and I need to buy on Steam now?

You can get the free copy of FE only from Stardock directly. Go over to their store-page, log in, and look under 'My Downloads'. You should find it there, if you are eligible.

You should also be aware that Stardock sold off Impulse a few years ago, so there are no ties to Impulse either.

Your Stardock account should use the username and password you had when you purchased WOM.
