[CRASH] Fallen Enchantress

So like many others i got FE during the midweek madness on steam. The game installed just fine and during my first game i had no crashes for about 4 hours however at the end of that period my turn button got stuck and cursor was in its loading/processing hourglass shape and in about a minute or two the game crashed completely. I tried loading the last autosave a few times and the same thing happened over and over. Then i browsed some of the topics and saw someone mentioning the idea of turning auto save off. So i did that loaded a previous auto save but it didnt help at all. I got a i7 3.4 with 16gb ram 64bit w7 ultimate with gtx680 graphics card.

 

Any suggestions?

Posting your crash dumps per "How to report..." sticky would likely help.

It seems like a common problem among steam users since i have seen a few posts about it and no one found a solution for it. And tbh I will not be registering to a random site to get support for a product I paid for. If they cant come up with a solution without the save or zip file so be it then I'll just uninstall the game and forget about it.

This post itself is very helpful.

Any time is crashes, we get a report and then QA is able to find the actual line of code it goes into.

If you'd like, if you post your saved game where it happens, I'll try it out. I'm working on optimizing memory this weekend which uses a saved game anyway so I could try killing to birds with one stone.
