MS has released IE 10 – probably in the hope that it will win back folks who’ve migrated to Firefox and Chrome. Wanna bet?

Currently Firefox holds 20% and Chrome holds 17% of the browser market while IE (all editions) holds about 55%.

Since IE10 was tied to W8, it’s exposure has been limited (apart from the “preview”). Since W8 is only at 2.3%, MS is releasing IE 10 to try and compete independently from W8.

seriously? Microsoft would love to have more third party apps in their store. actually many small developers sell their apps on the OS X app store exclusively, although they could distribute it on their own as well.

actually MS starts opening up a bit recently. they have been far more proprietary in the past.

Alright ladies, after five months of IE10 I decided to stop using it.  It is much more usable than any previous version in almost every way, but it crashes my system like a motherfucker.

Back to Chrome.
