Nor for me. When I try to choose a custom background, it doesn't work. W7 Home Premium x 64.

And it used to work fine.  Makes no sense to me.

Wiz... this isn't desktop slideshow. It's a Premium Dream from Stardock.

Only a certain feature of it doesn't work: Custom background.

I suspect it works the same way as Slideshow. Maybe Neil will clarify that in the support thread.

That's odd, the custom background works fine for me in DeskScapes 8 on W7 Home Premium x 64. The preview picture of the background doesn't load but the background does after you choose it and then click ok. 

It does take a few seconds to load though.

I prefer the Desktop Collage dream for pictures, and it works fine as well.

An added bonus...The Water Color dream works now as well.

Ever since i updated deskscapes theres is now two versions now 3 and 8 and now most my dreams aren't working evan all the one i paid for. i miss using astrioids and parasite. just gotta wait for fix to this now.

True dat.  No master dreams from themasterbaron work at all.  And, of course, the backdrop in Photo Dream still doesn't work.

For TheMasterBaron's I get a codec error.

Me too.

Anybody try checking their codecs with ffdshow or whatever after installing Deskscapes 8?  I'm wondering if the codecs got broken, seems like they crack on a whim.

I did, Mike. It was misbehaving before that.

That fixed the codec problem.  Now:  Photo Dream?
