[eMod] Armor Visuals

Version 1b

This mod changes a bunch of models and textures so that armor changes color more depending on faction colors and also look more unique depending on their race.

Originally I just wanted to make leather change color but I kept finding things to add to this mod and it spiraled out of control. It now changes the colors on all basic armors and switches around a few models to make certain races look more in tune with the lore. For instance the fact that several barbarian type races used roman style leather armor just bugged me. It also fixes a bunch of graphical bugs with armor colors, and is designed to not only work with custom faction creation but enhance it.

Note: I am working on making this compatible with my Urxen Redesign mod.

PS. If your computer explodes or this doesn't work it's not my fault.

If the textures in my "Dyed Leather" mod isn't one of the ones you used in yours for leather, feel free to include it.

Looks good!  Although if you have the misfortune to pick light tan as a faction colour, it doesn't seem to show up very strongly on the leather armour, which is itself light tan in colour.

Every system has a weakness. That's not one I'm worried about.

Nice was looking for something like this. Not seeing any feedback though, anyone found any problems with it?

DsRaider I really like these skins but they won't work with Stormworld the way I have it set up. Would you be willing to include Stormworld artdefs into your files if I sent you the relevant pieces? You wouldn't need to split it into two different versions of the mod, just add my defs to your own. People could then use SW with it and those who don't won't see anything odd.

Updated. Several small tweaks and support for the Hashaini race.

Has there been any progress on this?  Really enjoying Stormworld and would like to be able to use your the armor visuals mod with it.  I spent some time studying the files in hopes that I could fix it myself, but quickly realized that I don't yet have enough understanding of how it all fits together.  Thanks to you and Heavenfall for all of your hard work!

Sorry, I gave up on that.
