joe, it happens nothing. I renewed 3 times my skins here (deleting, repackaging and reuploading), and the 3 times i reached 100,000 downloads.
It happens nothing: No special party, no famous singer singing for me, not a congratulation by the president of the USA , not a reward like 'a fantastic travel around the world' hehehe
The only was happened to me is the past year... after 4 weeks uploading desktopx zoomers, i reached the 'Jopurneyman' category. I think that the next step is the Master Apprentice category, and after the Master; but i think that JourneyMan have sufficient advantages

Well, yeah. I'm so used to see Adni at the top of the top Authors list that I don't even look at it anymore. *yawn*
The skinning scene is getting boring. Time for some new blood.

As far as I know, in a small community of people, the members are like friends and the usally say "Congratulations!", if they don't say anything is like they are not happy about it, at least this is what happens in the civilized world that I know!

Adni, I like your work. It's simple and clean, so much so that any of your skins could have easily been the default look for any OS including Windows.
But the fact is that i'm tired of seeing you endlessly, day in and day out, on the top spot in the most downloaded artist list. Not your fault, I'm sure, you don't choose to be there, you don't choose to be so popular. But it's annoying after a year or so to always see the same person's name up there.
Don't take it personnaly, like I said, I like your work a lot. I'd feel exactly the same way if it was anybody. Actually, I did. In the old Skinz.org days, in a lesser extent (cause not even closely obvious), I was annoyed that any new Dangeruss skin always grabbed the top spot for a while. Of course, there was no "top author" list there, and if there was I think he maybe would have grabbed the top position very often, but not permanently like you here.
Again, it's not personnal, Adni, I respect your person, I like your work, I'm just tired to see your name at the top of that list.

i would have responded sooner, but to be fair a lot of the WB skins of yours (and nearly everyone else of late) just havent reached out and grabbed me.

/me *shrug*

i suspect this says far more about me than it does about the skinners.

i keep one eye on the new uploads, but it has been a while since i picked up a new WB skin to try.

/me is quite happy just watching the little fishes swim back and forward in my titlebar

your achievement is rightly impresive, it is just that i am feeling particuarly hard to impress at the moment, and dont tend to look up from the message board much either

give it another month or so, and homefully this phase will pass, and i will be back to downloading skins like a demon
