[BUG] [1.12] FE stopped responding after pressing turn button (edit for clarity)

The game is fun to play, but most of the time it ends with the program going wrong. I had just completed my turn waited to regain

control to play the next turn.  Control never returned.  I put the pastebin link in the "link" section.

 

This is my first bug report on FE.  Suggestions and Critiques welcome.

Again, game... hangs... some time after pressing turn.  Music continues to play, but screen "greys out" (All I am describing is as before,

Error messages I see in the debug.err:

Apologies for the necro, but I'm getting this crash about every 1-2 hours of gameplay. Same error message. This is in version 1.20.

 

Error is as follows, and this is only part of it. There's a huge block of this kind of error immediately preceding the crash.
