Maximum activations reached

Hello.

Can anyone reset an activations count for me please? I've just bought "Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion" and every time I try to launch and activate it a subjected message appears. I've registered a Support Service Ticket but since they're on the vacation it'll be a very long waiting for the response.

P.S.: Support Center Ticket ID: HMN-171-83833

I have also just purchased the game via Steam and get the same error - I have no other games and have only just bought Start8...

If these guys are closed for the holidays then i guess I'll be asking Steam for a refund...

I still hope some admin will help us in few hours/days, so... "patience, young padawan" :)

Maximum Activation? That's should not be possible with Sins. The limit is 1,000 activations per hour. Seriously.

My suggestions would be to reinstall Steam and/or Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. Maybe check to see that you are running as an Administrator as well. Other then that, yes some admin/support person is going to have to help you.

I'm really confident that Steam is not the cause. I've just tried to launch the game again and, strangely, it activated without any problems. Looks like there were some issues with Stardock servers or may be with my internet connection or somthing else.

Anyway, my problem is solved, thanks for replies.

The server issue was resolved earlier so any fresh attempts should work fine.

Sorry about that.
