How can Obama meet and shake the hand of PSY, a guy who called for the deaths of US troops and their families? I am normally sickened and revolted by Obama, but this raises the disgust to new levels. Nauseating.

Nothing BO does surprises me.  All the evidence would indicate he feels the same way PSY does, he just can't say so publicly.

I don't care for what he said, but as I've said to others, if we kicked out and brushed off every person who has either made a mistake, been young and rash, etc. etc., then we as individual members of the human species and a nation would be awfully lonely. Live and let live. Lets move on and focus on more important things than the actions of a guy who admitted he was young, stupid and caught up in the moment.

Now, do you have anything to add, or is this just going to devolve into a bunch of drama based on my actions some six or seven years ago? To be frank, I'd rather it not. Lucas, I did not need to notice your name.  And I already commented (RIF - try it).  Indeed, one has only to read your vacuous posts to know you have not changed.  I do not care if you are a reformed idiot, or merely the latest incarnation of irrelevancy.  So next time when a statement is made, try not to get so defensive.  As I made a single simple statement.  You just made the judgement.  which can be summed up as follows.

Was I defensive? Perhaps, but it wasn't my intent. I simply wanted to define the parameters for my commenting and interaction. I knew going into this what could happen and wanted to simply discuss/debate, not wind up rehashing stupid things I did years ago. In hindsight, maybe I did react, as oppose to stopping, thinking, and then acting. Perhaps it was instinctual? Then again, what else could be expected when the past interactions between myself and others here have been negative. So again, it wasn't intentional, but...it happened.

Anyways, my apologies. Lets get back on topic, eh? Are you at all interested in discussing the original topic of this thread?
