Super Abilities

Is there any way to change the AIs Super Abilities?  I want to play a game where the Drengin use the Super Annihilator ability with the Spore Ships.  I don't want the Korath in this particular game.  I've tried to edit them, in the initial setup, but Super Ability doesn't seem to change.

You'll need to set it in their raceconfigxml file (see your save game folder).

<SuperAbility>10</SuperAbility> will make them Super Annihilator.

Not sure if you will get them to use the spore ships though.

If I edit the Korath to use Drengin pics, colors and names, and put them in the slots of opponents at game start...will the computer use them as the Drengin?  It's for a custom map, so I can put "Korath" over the desired homeworld if you think that might work.  This would keep them from becoming a "custom" civ since I use my own, correct?

It's a question of AI capability.  The Korath one is the only one that has any interest in building and using spore ships.  Unfortunately the Korath AI like some of the others are not keen on colonising contested worlds - that is, places where they might lose colonies due to culture flip.  This kills their initial colony rush unless they start very far from the other races.
