Can't go to next turn

I'm in a large game, I believe, and I've hit a point where clicking Turn (or hitting Enter) won't start the next turn. All my units have taken action, I don't have anything selected. I can do everything else it seems, from examining cities to looking at unit details without a problem. Hovering over the Turn button says "End Turn (ENTER)", but nothing happens. I don't see any kind of messages either. It is Season 240. I don't think that is the time limit but I'm not sure, I can't find what the limit is through the Hiergamenon. (No "victory condition" entry under "game concepts". Is it somewhere else?)

I don't have past save files, just this one load file.

Any ideas about this?

Save the game to a new file.  Exit the game and then start it up again.  Load your fresh savegame and continue to dominate!

Hah!

Unfortunately that does not do it. :( I did fully exit the game too, no shortcuts! Oh well, that game was near its end. I guess I'll just have to start a new.

A few more things to try:

1) Try cancelling all auto moves, saving and restarting game.

2) Go on an attacking spree, kill every monster/enemy you reasonably can, then save reload game.

3) Try cancelling all city construction/unit projects save and restart game.

4) Try deleting all the units you don't need, saving and restarting game.

 

It is highly likely one or any combination of the above is going to work.

VVellsee, I've had this issue before as vvell. In one case, saving and reloading fixed it. Another time, nothing I could do vvorked, "next turn" vvould stop vvorking after tvvo more turns regardless. It's a fairly rare issue for me.

Any news if any of the things i suggested worked?
