One thing I've noticed over the years is how often someone thinks a post (blog, fb, tweet, etc.) is about them. Makes me think of the song "you're so vain".
Anyone else ever experience that?

And then there are those whom no matter how many clues you drop or how direct you try to be, never catch on to the fact that it is about them.

Hmm. It depends ... if its a social thing (face-book status, etc) and I know them closely, there is always that feeling that it could be about me (even if it ends up just being something silly).
Usually in intellectual discussion though, I don't tend to think a post is directed at me unless I am addressed by name
And with good reason, too... all your subordinates are rushing down to register their votes for you being the 'Scariest CEO Of All Time'
Apparently you're running neck and neck with Donald Trump... who last year was voted 'Worst Rug-Wearing CEO Of The 21st Century'
And you must admit, he does look like a complete dork under that thing he wears to hide the chrome dome underneath. 
Oh, and another reason I know it's not ever about me [unless it's really, really good]. I don't go to Facebook or Twitter or Twatter to attract trolls or twits or tw*ts who could or would say its all about me....

I self-identify as having no gender. I find the concept irrelevant in a cultural context. But I digress.
Sometime I post for truth, or sometime it's about me and my life i'm living...or sometime we speaking or posting rather as counsel or counsellors but sometime someone is destoryer or steal rather than help build other or sow seed in thier mind... sometime trolling, I guess. Some sow a good seed, some sow a weed seed...hmmm
I don't know why all these people are posting here when this is for me... ;p
