Tiles window on wrong monitor

I have been using Tiles for some time now. After moving my PC a few days ago, the Tiles window is showing on the second monitor.
No big deal you would think, only I haven't bought the multimonitor support!
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, searching my disk and the registry for setting, ...

It look like he think My First monitor is as wide as both monitors.
In my settings under 'Size and Location' it says:  "Show on monitor 1 - (1920, 0 - 3840, 1200)"

Anybody any ideas or workarounds?

Thanks,
Tim.

On the size and location tab, do you have the option to change monitors at all?

See http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/images/2012-11-12_0746.mp4

It sounds like your primary monitor is not defined the same as before you move things.

If you open up display properties you will probably find what you consider to be your second monitor is set as your main display.

Zubaz,

No I cannot change the monitor on the size and locations tab, it's disabled.

Neil,

Actually, after the move In checked that and the primary monitor was set as the main. So I tried setting the second monitor as primary. Now Tiles sits on the correct monitor as it did before, but there's a catch. Now every morning when I wake up my PC my monitors are reversed and I only way to get it all back to normal it to switch monitor cables.

So Tiles probably think my second monitor is the primary.

Did you purchase the multi-monitor function or are you using the free version?

The free version, otherwise I would be able to change the monitor.

But I shouldn't have to. It should be on the main monitor because it is the free version.

It should be positioning itself on the monitor that the OS tells it is the primary.

Is your primary monitor defined as the one on the left?

Doesn't anybody have an answer for this? Or a work around?

It's getting annoying.

I have the same problem

I have the free version

I get the tiles on the second monitor which is the notebook monitor so I cant change any cables and can not use Tiles at all because of this.

Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display\Screen Resolution and take a screenshot.  Show where Tiles is located.

I can't paste screen dumps into this reply (the Insert/Edit image-button prompts for an URL not a file...)

So I have to try to explain without showing a picture:

In Control Panel my Primary monitor has the number 2. Which means I have the Windows start menu on the external monitor with number 2. Stardock Tiles shows itself on monitor number 1 (maybe believing that monitor number 1 is always the same as the primary). It should of course show itself on the Primary monitor instead.

Ok, so the problem is that tiles doesnt' care which is your primary monitor, it always puts it on monitor number 1.

You can't seem to change this from windows, however I can from Catalyst control center by going to desktop management, right clicking on one of the screens and choosing "swap".

I assume something similar exists in nvidia software.
