Font size (text) too small at 1920x1080 resolution

Completed the Tutorial, Relias Scenario, and one random map so far and having a lot of fun. However, I'm having to play in lower resolution than my monitor's native 1920x1080 because text is too small at higher resolutions. Any fixes or mods in the pipeline to make text more readable at higher resolutions?

Can you provide a screenshot of the text in question.  I play at that resolution and I haven't seen an issue.

Its all relative to the monitor size you have. You can have a tiny 19 inch monitor with 1920x1080 and everything will look microscopic.

Does the text scale? I'd love to see the UI scale generally. Not sure how much work that would be (probably a lot), but I've played several games where you can choose how large the HUD is as a percentage. Would be really awesome to see that here.

Sorry for not replying sooner. The text I'm referring to is descriptive: unit building descriptions, tech entries, and hiergamenon articles. The in-game readables add to the atmosphere, so straining to read them impairs the enjoyment of the game. FYI, I'm playing on a 47" LCD HDTV monitor, and I sit several feet back from it. This probably wouldn't be an issue if I played on a desktop monitor sitting only a foot away. However, my most powerful gaming rig is connected to the HDTV, so I'd like to continue playing with the same PC and display.

Would it be possible to have a config option to increase text size by 1.5x perhaps? Or would this break other UI?

Also have similar problem. The text is just too small for me to read esily on the UI. I have a 21" monitor with 1080p resolution and I have to run at a lower resolution or I'm having to get really close and strain my eyes to read all the text.

Have to say it puts me off playing past the tutorial at the moment. Hoping for a fix in the future.

To a certain extent you can blame hardware manufacturers and consumers for both signing up for this mantra that bigger numbers, such as higher resolutions, are always better, regardless of the actual use case for the monitor.
