Been spending rather a lot of time in C4D these days working on modelling, lighting, texturing... One can only do so much in Photoshop... and I've

been doing it.. a loooong time... or so it feels...

So.....thought I would venture into 3D again for another WB.... Post work in PS.

I'm thinking along the lines of an upscale, contemporary, plush apartment in a modern Metropolis. Stainless steel fixtures..mood lighting.. et ceteraB)

For Windows 7.

Will post more as I go.

Oh yeah.... Much better. Not that the initial version looked bad, though. :)

Sometimes I hate my skins collection....

Someone already did use 'Metropolis' as a WB name, but quite franktly...... No one (but me) would ever have noticed. It's a 10 year old skin, so I seriously doubt anyone has got it, knows about it - let alone are using it...

This updated version has a slimmer main background section, less rounded, less thick, (therefore) > Less reflective.

Opignions? :P

Decreasing the reflectivity was just the right touch.  :thumbsup:

The reflectivity of the material wasn't changed.. Point being, making an object less thick, less rounded decreases the surface area, thus giving light less real estate to reflect off.

Net result, a more minimal look, but.. I think we're agreed, better looking.
