[SOLVED] Button "Show my desktop" does not work with modal window in Windows 7 64bit SP1, Fences 2.0

Can you describe the steps you are using to cause the issue?

Screenshots perhaps?

Open browser (Explorer for example), than Ctrl+O (open link) - this is modal window. Now Win+D does not work: the desktop is not shown. The same bug is with any modal window opened in any application. By the way the same is also on my notebook (Win7 64 SP1, Fences 2).

One more:

1) I use portals

'Show desktop' simply minimizes all windows, and 'modal windows' cannot be minimized, thus this is not a Fences issue. It's completely normal behaviour.
You could called it an OS feature/limitation.

You are wrong. Modal windows can be minimized! Try to switch off fences and restart the computer and it will start working. The issue occured in fences 2.0.

I tried that, and I stand corrected!

I've always assumed that 'show desktop' just minimized all windows.

Fences does appear to break this feature when active.

I will poke the correct people when they come online, plus have this thread moved to 'Support'.

Unfortunately the problem is not fixed in 2.01. When will You fix it?

We do not have a scheduled release to address this issue.

hi, i use Fences 2.10 with win7 64bit and this bug is still not fixed
