[BUG] Grip of Winter

Grip of Winter isn't stopping the production in the city I cast it on... that juggernaut is now one turn away. Yikes! I can provide a save if needed. Also, the description makes it seem like the spell effects multiple cities. I'm guessing it's not supposed to, but seeing as how it is effecting zero right now I can't really tell.

Sudden bump because I experienced this issue in my LH 1.0 match yesterday.

Cast it 3 times on 3 different cities but the units training/building construction didn't stop(don't know about harvest one as I don't know how to check).

 

Does anyone having the same issue or is it just me ?

What does the User interface currently say the spell does? According to the .xml, it seems to target just one city, but I am no expert at reading the .xml files. 

The file does look like it means to disable training and construction.

But the AI could probably still rush something though, right?

The AI isn't rushing things. The production queue didn't finish instantly. It was properly running turn by turn even though I casted Grip of winter.

I had a different issue with Grip of Winter (not sure if WAD). I captured an enemy city, which was hit with the spell and then the enemy recaptured it. Grip of Winter was still in effect though! I would have had to retake the city again and disenchant it to get rid of it, which was like a snowball effect since I couldn't produce more troops and was pretty much game over at that point lol.

 

It appears to be that anything queue'd up still continues production, just prevents anything new from getting created?

 

Edit: whoops just noticed that this isn't LH related and a necro (although still relevant I guess). Anyway, I would guess that there are some shared symptoms, and a reason why it appears that the spell isn't working is probably that it isn't affecting queues.
