Will WoM get any more patches?

Just curious.  I seem to recall Galactic Civilizations II vanilla getting patches even after Dark Avatar and Twilight of the Arnor.  I know it will never be a Fallen Enchantress, but wonder if, after the momentum of patches for Fallen Enchantress wanes in a couple months or so, if WoM might get some touch-up attention.

Why spend resources on WOM, when FE is out?? WOM failed and FE is ten times better.

Because some of us (read: me) still play it and are not looking to spend money on FE for a while.

The game was terrible and it is just a waste of funding to continue to support it. It'd be like using windows 95 when they released 7.

WoM is still being sold.  Stardock has stuck by their products in the past, even the older vanilla version of a game after an expansion has released (such as Galactic Civilizations II and Sins of a Solar Empire, both had patches to older iterations after newer expansions came out IIRC)
