a few small tweaks? appointing squad/army leaders....

1.  one thing id like is the ability to assign a leader to the stack of troops on the map (if you can do that i sure havnt found it lol) that way on the left hand side i can see the leaders i appoint and not misc units (why the heck is a bandit archer the top unit of my bandit stack that has a bandit captain??  switch please lol, just an example i had Bears be leaders of champions o.O dude wha?)  I am just assuming its due to levels of the troops.

2.  maybe even the option to rename your army?  instead of so and so's army.

3.  there seems to be a bug with the description of custom sovereigns/nations, as it not always showing the altered history/background.

4.  larger random maps...  Huge?  Extreme?  Epic??  sure some pcs prob can handle it but dont gimp those whos can i want a truly epic long drawn out war of conquest :-)

5. also a deploy feature would be nice in combat.  i dont care if its still only the limited spots, just let me put who i want in the front and back etc..  ie a warrior based sovereign still is in the back...  and even had my archer sovereign up in the front before -_-

thats it for now... sure i'll think of some more later

Another idea.

6.  how about a way to equip fielded units it better gear for instance i love my bandit lord but bandits get crappy real fast cause of the crap gear.  would be nice to equip them with better hammers, bows, daggers, etc.  which could easily be done with a upgrade button added to the unit menu ui on the lower left.  another one is ____'s Adventurers..  would be nice to upgrade them from clubs to swords or warhammers...  now if there is a way to do this already, i apologize cause i sure havnt stumbled on it yet.

On your point 1. you mean merging the sovereign or hero with a unit of troops? If so i would like to see that too (like Warhammer boardgame).

actually that's an idea as well..  Kohan did that as well.

But I was actually getting at lets say i have a bandit, bandit, kitty (quest for stalker cat), and a bandit captain... since Kitty is higher level, its "Kitty's Army" so my icon on the left is of the stalker...  Would prefer the 1 level lower Bandit Captain actually being leader and thus his icon on the left (ie my way of telling the difference between scouting throw away units and actually set up armies)

the game REALLY needs some kind of manual deployment. I'm sick of my familiar dying because it has 14 HP and no defense,  and it gets placed in the frontline. Wolves just charge straight at it and 1-hit kill.

I don't use familiar because I knew it's cost your one hitpoint, if familiar dead, you had to cast again only to lost more of your hitpoint, I do not like any spell that cost hitpoint or any stat like that...it's no fun for that...

Well if you choose your army general he could also "buff" your army. Maybe depending on the path you choose at lvl 4. I am talking about a passive bonus after you pick the path and not the skills after while you lvl up.
