Of those, I've only played Torchlight 2 and XCOM. It's so hard to judge FE to those games because they're so different.
I do remember Civilization V got scores like 90 and FE is better. I hate guessing but it shouldn't get anything lower than an 85. So I'll say 87 only because the reviewers these days tend to be kids looking for explosions and won't appreciate the vast amount of hours one can get out of this game.
I don't understand how Civ V received a 90. Definately not what I would have given it. These metrics should leave room for games that are clearly better.
As for FE, I would say it's deserving of an 80 in its current state.
However, knowing that additional content, quests, stamps, and props are all being included with 1.0 (and that doesn't even touch the campaign and workshop), I would say that....if these small balance issues are taken care of, FE is in for a solid 87.
If some of the larger changes were added in: More advanced AI, more diplomacy options, better road mechanic, more summoning spells, better balanced essence, tactical combat, RPG elements to the sandbox mode, etc....well, you get the point. Adding these can easily push FE into the 92-97 range.
This game is REALLY looking awesome
