Is the game chugging more for some of you guys, and why?

I've heard something about a memory leak creaking back in, but is the sluggishness due to the monsters moving in their own phase, or a memory leak?

FE has been really fast and zippy for me until the .99 patches.  It's not super slow now, but it feels that way in comparison to the previous betas.

That said, the crash issues I was having, they seem to be fixed.

I've noticed a real slowdown whenever I have 5+ river tiles within my display. All else seems to be working great.

I am an outlyer in these cases, but my outdated 512MB's of Windows 7 incompatible video memory runs a faster for .99 than any other. I can get to the endgame in vanilla with reasonable frames per second. Playing with what would call the desired number of monsters sends me straight to cloth map though.

When I first started playing the beta I had some sluggish results. But then I renamed my documents folder to something else (like they suggested in other threads) and it fixed the sluggish problems I was having.

I haven't seen this suggestion, what do you do exactly?

 rename your "..\My Documents\My Games\FallenEnchantress" directory to "..\My Documents\My Games\FallenEnchantress.old" and restart.
