i have made a reaper and alliance player. still entrencment. its based on many different mods, the asgard in star gate races are now mostly alliance. the reapers are origunaly dominion from star gate mod. all reapers have different models next to all from one soverign i found then modefied. question can i post this mod for downloade?

Of course. Although I think most people have moved from Entrenchment to Rebellion or Diplomacy by now.

Based or copied? It is highly frowned on to directly use someone else's work without permission. Fine if you keep it to yourself, but don't release it without permission.

they are not direct copies,they are basic version from mass effect that you find on the net, basically many variacions of soverign, it's tweaked bioware reapers that I have tweaked into differnt roletypes, they are all unike, with a similar design. But all coding, texturing some particle and sound effects have I done.It's not perfect but if people can have fun with it I'm more than happy to share it.

You asked a question, that was my answer.

 

Now the reasoning behind it:

Right there it sounds like your using someone elses work, changing 1 or 2 things. In this example the mesh and calling it your own work.

As Goafan said, its really frowned apon to take some elses work and then call it your own. 

 

If you want to use someone else work, You need their permission. Seeing you have not gotten permission from anyone about anything your made...my answer to your question is no.

 

Private message the makers of your assests get permission, give them proper credit. Cross your T's and dot your I's. Then release your mod.

Even with model usage, its very important that you ask permission. We (as a fellow member of the DS team with -Ue_Carbon) have nothing  against what you are doing as we do it a lot in Distant Stars.
