Thank you Windows XP testers

I want to give a shout out to our Windows XP beta testers.  Thanks to your reports, we were able to track down that issue that was causing it to frequently crash on some Windows XP setups.

As you can imagine, in 2012, it is difficult to replicate "real world" Windows XP systems. There's only so many uncles and aunts in the world to bother and after the...you know, "formatting" incident, I'm not allowed to visit.

Should go out in tonight's build.

(20 crash reports later...)  Yay!  I was losing hope.  And right before I begin seriously considering going to Windows 7 to play XCom. :borg:

Recommend Win7 regardless if you can afford it. I made the switch from 32 bit Vista to 64 Win about a month ago and haven't looked back.

You should still get Windows 7.

I took one for the team.  I have two beautiful Windows 7 machines calling my name, but I wanted to struggle through on Windows XP to get those bugs!

I've taken seriously the recommendations of several people about this, but it's going to have to wait until next year.  Too many necessary expenses.  We just can't afford it at the moment, and I suspect I'm not the only one in the same somewhat leaky boat.
