[Idea] Sovereign's Personal Gildar Account Versus Kingdom/Empire

I saw this on another thread, https://forums.elementalgame.com/432847.  The basic thought is that the Sov. could have its own individual gildar storage for equipment purchase and then store costs could be more balanced against taxes income instead of the artificial inflation of prices to maintain balance of a sov getting to much too soon.

So you would have your normal Tax rate and then another rate of how much the Sov takes from that.  The higher the rate the sov takes the higher the unrest.  Think of it as another way to keep you from over taxing for the Sov's gain.  This also keeps the majority of the Gildar for buildings and soldiers.  The Sov can donate gildar to the tax office if the coffers are empty.  So the rate can go both ways.  This allows two different gildar scales to be used, then buildings troops being trained cost what they should without having to balance versus a Sov getting super powered from gear.

Obviously this needs fleshed out more, but just a thought.

Reminds me of Tropico.  Letting evil players choose to leech from the kingdom's finances for personal gain...

Not sure it's a good idea though.  More complicated.  And obviousl, sovs gain is the kingdom's gain here.

Not sure what this is supposed to add to gameplay.......

No way.  I don't think that Elemental has any Magna Carta type regulations of the kings power, the Sovs are the ultimate power and own all things, no separation of nation and monarch.

I actually like the idea at its heart.  I was thinking more of a champions/sov store.  As you get new techs a random weapon/armor from that tech is thrown in the champ/sov store and you pay nothing for it.

Like an inventory system type thing.  I mean he's the sov right?  cant he at least get some free armor to give to his favorite champ?  Anything.  Something.

Or maybe just a sov's store and he has to take something all the way across the land to give it to that champ.

That has probably been hashed about a thousand times already.  I'll leave it at that.
