Kindle White good, but heavy

Got the Kindle White yesterday.  I like it. Much better reading than either the Kindle 4th generation or the Kindle touch.  However, it is noticeably heavier. I haven’t decided yet whether that’s a worthwhile trade off.

Even if they do get better battery technology in 5 years or so... I wonder how long until its cheap enough to put in these low end devices. I spent a few hours reading a book last night... if weight was an issue it would really bother me.

It's still lighter than a "real" book.

But my tiny muscles have long since atrophied.

Which one did you replace that it is heavier. I checked out weight before ordering my new one. Kindle Touch 3G and Kindle Paperwhite 3G both weigh 7.8 oz on amazon.com. Not to say that might not be wrong, or possibly do you have a case that weighs a bit more this time? Not trying to argue here, genuinely interested as mine is not scheduled for delivery until the 17th.

Gym workout- 4hours a day and 3-4 days a week, (running, swimming, weight room, equipment room) and in 3 months thank me later.

I think about a gym workout about 3 to 4 times a week (running, swimming, weights, equipment, etc) then I wipe off the sweat, take a few pain killers/anti-inflammatories and sit down in my computer [or other nearby] chair before I fall down.

I don't personally know Kindle White, but it seems a little mean to call her heavy on the internet. Cyber bullying is so 1998.  :troll:

I dunno about heavy... a little plump, perhaps, but she takes it all in her stride and is such a great sport with it.
