Do you have a favorite quest?

I like the quest that gives shadow world :) Although I never make any successful use of it, I still love to cast it and imagine that the monsters would kill that enemy city they are standing next to.

It might be that the spell would work better in latest beta as I have noticed that monsters are more aggressive now (on Hard). The wild is more hostile in general and I love that.

I play Altar and do lots of bought quests. Mainly for the exp, but sometimes I get a good sword. Too bad that some of the quests dont trigger when you walk on them (they are always quests I have bought, but only like 1 in 5 doesnt work).

Just remembered another favourite. Then one that gives a splitting butcherman (or what they are called). I like splitting (resoln) demons.

I like the troublesome adventures, the one you put the image of...but the model for the Iru mage guy seems a bit off.

I love the quest that gives you the pink pony resource tile. I think it's really cool you can upgrade it into war unicorns. Grats on the great quest frogboy! O:)

What the fuck!  How come this never spawns for me!  Conspiracy!

Something is currently blocking me from higher level quests (needed tech has been researched).

Do i need to do a reinstall instead of just updating, or are there some files I need to delete?

I really like one I have only seen once, where you have to defend a group of priests from an unruly mob - or join the unruly mob.

Also the Arena & Assassin's Blade quests, especially the latter when you come to the final victim...

I like the one that gives Panca Archers

yeah, its not the quest, its the prize :)

I like the one when you have to go from the one side of the map to the other.

The arena of course.

OMG I just found a quest that allow me to upgrade my war unicorns to fire breathing pink horned war ponies. Next thing you knowthey'll upgrade to bunnies. pink fluffy bunnies with strange twitchy noses. And what's the thing with the carrots, does anyone really need to have that great eyesight?

Right, again, Joasoze -- Good Observation !

For my part, I am not really all that RPG/Quest-oriented.  I prefer to play E:FE as a kind of perverse 4X game, where the first two X'es (eXplore and eXpand) are partially/purposely crippled and twisted.    :D

For that reason, I usually prefer the shorter, simpler quests, where I can snag some (non-purchaseable) useful and interesting prize, especially in the early part of the game.  I  do  have a favorite prize so far.  I really liked obtaining "Kitty" in a recent quest.  As a Mage's "familiar", she is way cooler than some old wolf or dog.  For an early game companion, she is pretty darn powerful too; and considerably preferable to some lumpy Ophidian reptile ...

I love the noblewoman escort quest - never get tired of it. :troll:

To actually answer the question, no I don't have a favorite quest.

I would like the quests to be both more epic in scale ('completing' a quest component a certain way will open up different quests later on, etc) and I would also like to see their completion effect your game quite a bit more.

Right now I see quests as a mild diversion so I can get a crap load of xp and lootz.

Maybe get your author buddy to design some quests?

I like the quest, i like reading them and I enjoy doing them.  It's good fun.  I don't expect every quest I get to be some major Destroy the One ring quest.  But overall I enjoy them.

I like the quest that gives the two wolves because my daughter likes naming them  .

Hmm....a quest that spawns another quest.   Sounds like a feature for the quest wizard. I'll look into it.

My favorite is the various random events.  Meteor Strike is a good one.  I also like the Spider & 3 brothers as that gives you different options for completing (and I love the brothers as units).

I like the one that places 'caves' all over tha map, some simply have treasure, while others have @ 15 or so big bad giant things lookin to kick my tomb lootin *ss (can't remember if this was a quest or random event) - but then again I know I havn't seen even a majority of them yet with my turtling style of play

I really dislike quests and caves that are betrayingly powerful, its ok to have a "You got eaten and beaten" once in a while, but right now I see lots of them.
I like that somequests have NO combat, thats really nice, gives a break from the never ending "beat this" "Whack That" playstyle atm. So more quests in the style of escort and... whatever riddles etc.

I humbly swear not to tease xia for at least another month. I just can't stop staring at the eyepatch.

On a more serious note, I think my favourite quest is the assassin's dagger because it has several steps to it. Too many one off quests. It would be neat to start a weak quest that extends for many steps ending in a major event that you have to really work hard for. Not for some game breaking item, but for something that you can't get from research.

I agree with kongdej, in that the game needs more puzzle quests
