Searching issues

I have some problems while searching in Start8:

  • Search feature is not acting like windows search. For instance: in windows search, I can type: int opt for Internet Options, pro fea for Programs and Features, but with Start8 I can't.
  • Search for Metro Apps requires exact keyword, for instance: wea does not return Weather app

Besides, it would be great if you can provide an alternative shortcut key (like shift + win) for Metro menu,

Yes; Also the search results are not prioritized like the windows 7 menu.  

For example, if I search "VLC", then "Reset VLC media player" pops up before the actual application. It's nothing major, just a productivity issue:
