Ctrl-shift-enter run as admin feature request

Windows 7 and Classic Shell allows hitting ctrl-shift-enter to run an application as administrator.  For example: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/tims/archive/2006/11/02/windows-vista-secret-10-open-an-elevated-command-prompt-in-six-keystrokes.aspx

Adding this feature to Start8 would be very helpful.

Also, Classic Shell allows launching the Windows 8 Start Screen by hitting Shift-Win; can this feature be added as well?

Last, the Recorded TV menu item does not disappear if unchecked in settings.

Thanks for a great app!

Start8 already supports pressing ctrl + shift to make something elevated.

Regarding Shift Windows Key, right now we support Ctrl + Windows Key, but thats something we will look into.

The Recorded TV item is a known issue.  It is showing when the Downloads item is turned on.  We have this fixed internally so the next update will resolve this.

Neil, I believe he's talking about supporting ctrl + shift + enter from the search box to run things like CMD elevated with a simple key combo like could be done in windows 7, and can also be done via the start screen in Windows 8.

Ahh there seems to be a small bug with it accepting enter when those keys are down.

Thanks for checking, Neil.  With those minor bugs fixed, I'll be purchasing Start8 -- it's certainly much better than the alternatives.

I am pleased to say this bug is now fixed for the next beta update.
