Help with download issues please?

Ok, well, first thing is I play Dark Avatar (purchased the Gold Edition years ago). Recently, I decided to start playing on the Metaverse, and am still on my first game with such. However, I decided I wanted to download the updates since I am running on 1.5. Problem is, according to Stardock Central and Impulse, I do not have the game downloaded. I can't find my original disc atm (though thankfully my Stardock Account shows my cd serial code), and while Stardock says to download impulse in order to download the game again, I do not have the opion of doing so despite having Impulse installed, and an account with them. Can anyone shed some light on what I am doing wrong here?

Alright, after talking with a friend, he directed me to show the Impulse how to recognize it. The problem is that while I can get it to recognize Dark Avatar, it will not recognize GalCiv 2, and when I try to update it, it tells me I need to register the product code without actually giving me the option to do so.

Gamestop removed the option to register retail copies, so if you never registered it until now, please contact [email protected] and they should be able to work out a means to get you the updates.

Well, I have registered it with Stardock before, and the game is showing on my Stardock Account along with the serial number for it, but I can't find an option anywhere to get the updates. When I get money, I am just going to get the Ultimate Edition, but I don't know when that will be, and would like to update DA in the process.
