Cap ship question.

Hey, I only just recently got back into the game and I only have up to diplomacy (no rebellion :( ) And I was wondering... When I'm attacking the advent with my fleets, every once in a while one of my capital ships will go from very healthy and shielded to dead in a matter of seconds. What I need to know is perhaps what ability the AI is using to do this, if I can avoid them doing it, and lastly if I can do it to them (I'm also currently using advent)! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Cleansing Brilliance is probably the most powerful single target ability for the Advent. However, when fleets start getting large caps find themselves outgunned pretty quick. The AI doesn't usually focus fire but if they have a lot of one type of ship, especially LRF or bombers, your caps won't last long without a lot of support (I.e. a fully developed battle ball).

If you don't think that's it, post a screenshot where we can see both fleets in the Empire tree.

Could also be Detonate Antimatter if at higher levels.  More likely, to notice a large ammount of health, It'd have to be combined with a few bombers hitting at the same time though, or a group of Crusaders just getting in range.  Like Goa said, a screenshot of what their fleet looks like would narrow it down.  Or a list of ships if you can't get a screenshot.

Hmm. I suppose it could be either of those. I don't have a screenshot or a fleet list to narrow it down so oh well. Its not TOO terribly important just a bit annoying. Thanks y'all and to you Twi, Princess Luna is my FAVORITE. You are cool lol.
