A theme I have wanted to do for a long time, never got around to it, until now.
Spent quite a bit of time on just the start menu...
Might just enter GUIC.. who knows..

I'm sure it's an optical illusion, but the L looks misaligned to me......like it's leaning too far forward.
BTW, the blind I used in the above shot is Tom Richter's Technix. And the Venom cursor.
I think a cursor is upcoming and John will no doubt dazzle us with an awesome WB.
The letters are definitely not leaning, but i can see how they may appear to be slightly, in an illusion'ary way... red plays tricks on the eye more than any other color.
Ive since changed the design up a bit, will post the final walls after theme is done... which.. wont be long now.
Lay off the moonshine for a day and it will look straight.

Ive added a tasteful single loop animation to the HAL orb in the start menu.. looks pretty kickin' IMO..

Yep...illusion....and nothing to do with 'red', John....
It's a combination of perspective [relevant VP is off the page to the bottom] compounded by the oblique slope of the 'A' next to it [the 'L'].
There'd be no difference no matter what colour it was...;)
The image has 5 VPs ....;)
Red , regardless, plays tricks on the eye more than other color, whether it was the 'butler' in this case or not, but thanks for the mini tutorial.
