No... Aerial Ping-Pong, Jafo, Aerial Ping-Pong.  Which ain't exactly football... they throw, punch, bat and spill the ball more often than kick it... with an actual foot.  It is the most inane, least-structured and disorganised 'game' Ive ever seen... no wonder it struggles to find a true home outside of  Melbourne/Victoria.  No, can't count Sydney Swans, Freemantle Dockers, Gold Coast Suns, either.  They're all ex-Melburnites or wannabe Victorians with a passion for sissy ballerina-ball and stupidity.

Auto/cycle racing is a sport.  Football is a game.

In football, the balls are provided. In racing, you have to bring your own.

Years ago...an ex-pat American, TV show host [Don Lane] commentated coverage of a GridIron match....explaining all that was going on [to us idiot Aussies]...and it almost made sense...even passably entertaining....

But then I forgot it all.

Needless to say I do understand the ins and outs of F1 and the Moto .... but then they're 2 sports I need to know what's what.  [if I'm gonna be a 'judge of fact' it comes with the territory]...;)

Rugby, Union that is. Close, but not close enough. Even that has recently gone marshmallow soft....  compared to Rugby League....NRL.

Now that is the greatest game of all... a full contact shoulder charge from Sam Burgess would sit any NFL player on his overly padded arse.

Yup, the NRL beats the balls off soccer, the ARU, AFL, NFL, EPL, NHL and the EFF ALL. ;P
