I just want to say thanks for making a much better tactical AI. It plays much better than it ever has. This was on the normal setting. I have not tried the others out.

I've made a lot of newer tweaks too in our build.
For example, I made it a lot smarter about moving a hurt champ out of melee combat, healing and coming back in once healed and taking someone else's place. I made it also so that the archers are finally smart about moving way far away from the action before they shoot.
Probably the biggest though is that there was a whole class of spells/buffs that the AI didn't know about -- special abilities that aren't actually spells. I thought I was accessing all of them but it wasn't. Just a data storage thing but it means that great wolves will now Howl and other speical champs and such will do stuff.
There's still a ton to do and I'll likely keep working on this long after release (like I did with GalCiv).
The best thing I get is feedback from players on how THEY play. Might sound silly but I regularly bump up against my own crumminess as a player and when I see good players doing their thing, I learn a lot of strategies to put in.
Since this thread is in the modding category, have you tried a hero with Stun, Sweep, Double Strike? I gave Lord Verga all of those to start and it is scary good to use them sequentially on an army. I would love the AI to learn the same trick.
