Mac Pro Retina just came in

Playing around with that this evening.  Trying to migrate from my 2010 Mac Pro. Taking a lot longer than I’d like.

I also have a ThinkPad X1-carbon on the way. I’ll let you know how that goes when I get it.

What do you do with all of your old tech equipment?

I'd be interested in seeing your impressions of the new Thinkpad, as you liked your last one so well.

Thats one thing I am wondering about... when you increase the resolution without increasing the size of the monitor/pixels, do you have to increase the size of icons and text to compensate?

I know by default many applications will be running at 1/2 resolution and double size, so they look the same as always, but you can force the resolution up which makes it very compact and possibly difficult to use.
