Yep, changing it a lot though as I guess it may be a little toooooo Classic, but we'll see!

I know it's a WIP but it just seems kinda "flat" imho.
Bear in mind I never used any OS prior to XP, so if pre-XP is what you are shooting for, I'll dummy up. 
Zoomed the preview, left it up for a minute, and like so many of your skins I found myself gazing at it. That means I like it 
It's very clean, and the colors are pleasing, nice lines....but I would really like to see you challenge yourself a little more. You put out skins faster than most artists here, and don't get me wrong, they ARE quality skins, but I think if you spent more time trying different things, getting out of your comfort zone, you could create something that would make all of our jaws drop on the floor.
If you're happy with this latest WIP, then I'm happy with it, because that's the whole point to skinning, however I believe you could add a lot more dimension, lighting and elements to this, to take it out of the "vanilla" category of skins.
The style is fine but I am so "not" into grey! I find it depressing and so Microsofty! 
Actually yes, I am adding just a little *bling*, and also changing the colors. New screenshot soon!
