Auto-hiding taskbar + WinKey?

Loving the program. I honestly love Metro on my tablet but on my desktop it just gets in the way. This is awesome, however I've noticed that when I set my taskbar to auto-hide (as I usually do) and attempt to launch the start8 menu using the Win Key I am greeted with only the user image at the top of the menu and not the menu itself. This is resolved when I disable auto-hiding or when I focus the taskbar (with a left click) before using the Win Key to launch the menu.

Is this is a known bug? Are there any workarounds beyond either not relying on the Win Key or not using auto-hiding taskbar?

Cheers,

Dean

There is another program that fixes that issues and that is classic shell but the current start 8 is a improvement but they need to fix this issue.

Thanks for reporting this.  It is now fixed for our internal builds, so it should be fixed in the next beta we release though I cannot say when the beta will be released other than some time in September.
