Sounds good. But one problem I've been having is that the "Fixer" doesn't work. When I use it to eliminate my opponent's Spin Doctor or Smear Merchant, the polling in that state stays the same, as if I never got rid of them.

It was taken down because the news channel is not the appropriate place for lengthy discussions on mod support.  Try the TPM Modding sub-forum.

Hi. I know I have created headaches but just one question-why only have exit polls based on issues? Why not on the actual demographics-i.e women, Latinos, African Americans, youth, men, etc.

Will there be a new update? Will you include the 'war hero' operative? I love the 'definer' but he is not the 'war hero' as described in the manual. It's always good to get the endorsement of a veteran.

Also, demographics on religious voters- how Protestants and Catholics vote.

What about the Jewish-Israeli American vote?

exit polls on votes by income?

It's strange that Oklahoma, West Virginia,  Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas and Louisiana are won by Democratic candidates so easily when I play [almost always as a Democrat]. Oklahoma is the reddest state, and the last Democrat to win in the other five was Bill Clinton, who appealed to white southern men and Scots-Irish, blue collar voters [aided of course that this was largely his home region, being from Arkansas]. Are your models based on 1992-96?

It seems really biased to the Dems, it is a lot harder to win as a Republican

I noticed that as well, so I went into the game files and changed the state statistics to give states like VT more dems, and states like OK, AR, WV, LA, ad KY more republicans. It makes it a bit more realistic.

just go to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Political Machine 2012\Data\English\Maps\USA

then open the state files with wordpad or notepad and edit them. It's a pretty neat

you could actually do that? Great! Will try it. Thanks.

However, a 2016 Political Machine may state that Democrats in these states are Blue Dogs, like Ryan's wife and Blanche Lincoln and West Virginia's Joe Manchin, and therefore subject to vote Conservative Democrats for Congress and Republicans for White House.
