Cerulean Star

Formerly Stardust

Just an FYI, the Windowblind, Rainlendar and SysMetrix that I uploaded last evening (which I named Stardust, after searching WinCustomize for any WB named Stardust and none was found) has now been renamed Cerulean Star, so as to avoid any conflicts with people's Windowblinds lists.  I apologize for any confusion the first one caused.

Thank you very much!  Now Cerulean Star will get the recognition it deserves, without the confusion.   (even if most of the confusion was mine) ;)

You did a superb job on it, imho.5* 5*

Stardust was never released to the general public so it never made it in the gallery but I remembered having it in my skins list.

I like the new name better.

I was wondering what happened.  No apology needed.

Wonder why the name thing didn't get caught in moderation?  :-"

EDIT:  "Stardust was never released to the general public......", ahhh, that's probably why it didn't get caught.  :sun:

Can someone please explain to me what this is all about?

Is this a skin that was in the Gallery and removed and renamed?

If not, what are you all talking about?

Yes, Seth -- I uploaded a Windowblind last night that I had named "Stardust" but apparently Stardock has a premium skin by the same name, so when people added it to their Windowblind list, it would get mixed in with the premium skin.  So, I edited my uploads to change the name.  Here's what the skin looks like:

Karen released a wonderful new WB that happened to share the name with a subscriber skin. A conflict occurred if you had the earlier one installed then installed the new one.

I guess I need to PM a moderator about getting it back into the galleries.

Great skin no matter what you name it, K 5*

You would think that in this day and age someone would set up Windowblinds to recognize conflicts and offer to rename the new skin on install to lets say in a a case like this... offer to rename it to Stardust-2 or something.  People cannot keep coming up with different names forever and should have the right to name their skin whatever they want. I mean, what about people that design WB's and only release them on their own sites?  How is one supposed to know about those names also?  o_O

Fantastic skin though Karen!

That's a great idea, Tom. 5*

Thanks Wiz, Tim and Tom for the nice compliments.

I've PM'ed a mod to get these back into the galleries, but for anyone who sees this, and wonders where the skin is until the issue gets fixed, here are the direct download links:

The first link takes you to Last Updated WB's, yours is not there.

*Sigh* It takes me to the correct place when I click on it, but I have access to my own skins, so it's some kind of site voodoo or something.

Okay...whom should I be speaking with to get this resolved?  I PM'ed Jafo...anybody got any better ideas?

Stunning skin, Karen! 5*

Will try to expedite...

What might have happened is that due to 'updating' the skin, it went back into the moderation queue. Trying to get it straightened out now.

I'm a journeyman, so it shouldn't have gone to moderation.   Unless all updates go to moderation.  Whatever...thanks for your help in trying to expedite it for me, Seth.  I have to go to work now.  Have a great day.
